CFP: Brussels Seminar in Modern Philosophy (Brussels, 7 may 2014)

The first meeting of the Brussels Seminar in Modern Philosophy will be held Wednesday 7 May 2014 at the Université libre de Bruxelles. The seminar aims at fostering interaction among junior and established scholars working in the history of modern philosophy (roughly from late scholasticism up to Kant). The languages of the seminar are English and French. 
Guest speaker this year will be Prof. Michel Fichant (Paris-Sorbonne) who will give a talk on Leibniz’ Monadology.
Papers on any subject in modern philosophy are welcome for presentation.  Reading time will be 45 minutes. Please send an abstract as attachment (about 500 words), prepared for blind review, to Arnaud.Pelletier@ulb.ac.be by March 10, 2014. The author’s name and affiliation should be included in the body of the e-mail. Notification of acceptance will be given by March 17, 2014.
Please note that no financial support can be provided for travel expenses and accommodation.
